He Said That?

So, the guy who said THIS is the governor of our state. Hmmm.
"These are people who lead very gray lives... They don't have much social interaction... But if you put them on the bus, they're excited. They're happy. They have fun. They see the bright lights. They hear music. They pull that slot machine, andwith each pull they think they have a chance to win. It's unbelievable what brightness and cheer it brings to older Pennsylvanians. Unbelievable." -- Gov. Ed Rendell talking to the Lancaster New Era about slots and older Pennsylvanians
Does Granny need some brightness and cheer in her dull, gray, lonely, existance? Put her on the bus and let her pull the slots!
Seriously, Governor, do you just look down on old people, or were you born without an IQ? I'm trying to figure out which.
Oh, and why did he say we need slots in PA? So the money could support senior citizens? Why not just let them keep it?
Next time you want to give Granny some cheer, Gov, tell a joke.

Ed Rendell is just showing his true colors. He is a liberal and he looks down his nose at anyone who isn't among the "elite" like He is. That is why they want us to become a socialist government, so they can rule over us idiots.
