your post gave me chills. Thanks Pastor Mike for giving me some insight as to why you love Penn State

Good stuff Mike. 5 years of College, dozens of home football games and rallies, almost 10 years of working for Penn State and I never heard this story before.

Why aren't they playing this at the stadium before every game. It should be a pre-requisite for permission to perform the cheer.

hey pastor mike, one of my teachers at school said that he doesn't like the fact that many churches are holding events on halloween and giving it a different name like october fest or something and they are giving away candy and such..he says that doing that only one time, and on halloween, is still exalting the holiday. Unless they are getting kids off the streets once a month or consistently, then getting them off the streets on halloween is still exalting the day.

Great video Mike. It's always neat to learn how traditions got their start.
