The clowns who lead us have seen fit to force the hands of our military by pulling them out of Iraq or withhold their money. So, what part of "We support the troops" looks like that?
Okay, class clowns, some simple lessons. Look around the world. George Bush is not the problem. Though many disagree with his solutions, he is not the problem. The problem? Crazy Muslims who want to kill all the infidels are the problem. If they would stop blowing themselves up, the war on terror is over.
Of course, it is not politically correct to make war on crazy Muslims in America, so I guess George Bush is the problem, right? silly silly people.
Anyway, so we are in Iraq. Agree or not, we are there, and the crazy Muslims (there are non-crazy Muslims, I'm not talking about them) see this as the place to beat the Americans. Oh how easy it is. They don't have to defeat our military, just get our congress on their side. Not hard to do.
So the Congressional Clowns are giving the crazy Muslims what they want. What would happen if America ducks out of the fight in Iraq? Lots of things, all of them bad.
It will be the second major conflict we have been in that proves to the world that the American people are easy to manipulate, with the help of the American press, to get us to pull out. The American Congress and the people who elect them have the blood of over a million civilians on their hands because they pulled us out of Viet Nam with no protection for the people of South Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, etc. Of course, the American people don't know that, because why would CBS News want to bring all that attention to such things? Hmm? Don't want their own policy to look bad.
Okay, pull out of Iraq, what happens? The only nation actually fighting terror with any will power is now backing down. This will have what effect on the crazy Muslims? Hmm? Please, not liberal spin on this answer, reality will prove the obvious.
Oh, and please, no garbage about how GW made all the Muslims hate us more. So silly, so very silly. They hated us already and have been at war with us since the 70's, long before GW.
But the wise Pelosi's and Reids and Hegels know better than the Generals on the ground how to handle Iraq. Right.
IF ANY AMERICAN SOLDIER READS THIS BLOG, LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THERE IS A VERY LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO KNOW WE ARE RIPPING YOU OFF, ERODING YOUR SUPPORT AND TRASHING THE BLOOD OF YOUR FALLEN COMRADES AS A NATION. WE, LIKE YOU, FIND IT REPULSIVE. WE TRULY SUPPORT YOU, MISSION AND ALL. YOU ARE DOING A GREAT THING: LIBERATING A NATION WITHOUT TAKING IT OVER, FIGHTING THE CRAZY MUSLIMS WHO REALLY ARE TRYING TO KILL US ALL. YOU ARE GOOD MEN MAKING THE WORLD SAFER FOR PEOPLE IN AMERICA AND EUROPE WHO DON'T DESERVE IT. BUT THEY WILL SING A DIFFERENT TUNE WHEN MORE BUILDINGS FALL, NO DOUBT. OF COURSE, THEN THEY WILL BACK DOWN AGAIN WHEN YOU START TO WIN THE FIGHT AGAIN. I'M SORRY AND ASHAMED OF MY FELLOW AMERICANS HERE AT HOME. I APOLOGIZE FOR THEM.
My father was in Viet Nam. Regardless of how we got there or whether we should have been there, we could have and should have stayed to win. 50k American soldiers lost their lives in a congressionally motivated loss. I gave up my father for 2 years of my life to have his efforts made useless.
In this war, which is extremely winnable (believe me, the dems know this --they need us to lose for political reasons --they have bet all their money that we fail --they need us to fail), we have lost many fewer, but are going to pull out anyway. Do we care about Iraqis? Obviously not. Obviously our congress is willing to say to the Iraqi's "You're on your own. Sure, a couple more years and you'll probably be able to carry on the great things that have begun in your land without our help. but, we have elections and people need their power so, have a nice chaos day."
I'm ashamed of Congress. Every American who understands history and freedom should share in this shame.
