The Boss Birthday Gift

Lorrie surprised me yesterday at lunch time with two tickets to see Bruce Springsteen in concert at the Mellon Center. We were in General Admissions, and ended up right at the stage.

What a show. This guy is 60. He "gave it all night" --or at least for 2 hours-- as if he was 25. What energy!

Great musicians. Crowd was interesting --all ages represented.

He only went into his strange policital views once, and only for a minute. Easy to ignore, thankfully.

Great time. Thanks to Lorrie.

You're blessed to have such a thoughtful wife. I would have gotten Rich tickets to a Kenny Rogers concert. Ha! Ha! Barb B

Lorrie is wonderful. What a terrific gift. Happy Birthday!!.
I enojoy his music but I usually don't go to concerts of politically vocal entertainers. Sounds like he didn't get too weird. I hope he comes our way this time. Perhaps we'll be able to go too.

Aunt Judy!

it was fun. he only began to speak politically once, and it was in generalities. Of course I yelled out "Shut up and sing!" One or the groupies in the front threw an elbow but missed!

I decided I would have mercy on his politics. You know those celebrities are brainwashed by their fame into bad politics!
