Okay, the little nut-job who presides over Iran is at it again. This time he is warning us Americans that we must either submit to God or vanish from the earth. Here are his words:
"These oppressive countries are angry with us ... a nation that on the other side of the globe has risen up and proved the shallowness of their power. They are angry with our nation. But we tell them 'so be it and die from this anger'. Rest assured that if you do not respond to the divine call, you will die soon and vanish from the face of the earth.”
Of course, by these words he means that Allah is on his side and that we cannot stop him. Allah is displeased with America and will soon kill us all.
He's wrong of course.
But is he all that wrong? He has the wrong God, to be sure, for Allah is not God. However, the true God's message requires repentance also. It is a "fearful thing to fall into the hands of God." So, even though President Tom of Iran has no idea what he is talking about, there is a shadow of truth: America, turn to the true God, or there is no real safety for you.

Is their god the devil? I think so. America can beat them both (both them and their god), by turning back to the ideals and intentions of its forefathers.
God used the Assyrians to discipline the Isrealites. I hope we are not heading down the same path. The idea of becoming part of a remnant is not appealing.
Lets remind folks its freedom of religion, not from religion.
Here, here! Great points all around. It is not the size of their leader that is the issue, it is the design of God who uses nations and measures nations by different standards than men.
I too am against the whole remnant thing!
However, ultimately, as Kingdom Citizens, we know it will work out in the end.
