Lieberman Chimes In

Joe Lieberman wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal. Here is the last paragraph:

We are at a critical moment in Iraq--at the beginning of a key battle, in the midst of a war that is irretrievably bound up in an even bigger, global struggle against the totalitarian ideology of radical Islamism. However tired, however frustrated, however angry we may feel, we must remember that our forces in Iraq carry America's cause--the cause of freedom--which we abandon at our peril.

I have found myself liking him more and more the last year or so. I wouldn't not vote for him in a presidential election....as long as he didn't have Gore or Edwards beside him that is. Him and Obama, while I don't agree with Obama on a lot of issues, would be the best pair I can see on the left side.

Joe and Obama? Hmmm.

How about Joe and J. C. Watts?

Or Joe and Condi?

Or Joe and Glenn Beck?

Joe and Joepa!

I like Glenn Beck. I respect him, and usually agree with what he's saying. However, his Mormon beliefs do impact my view of him. His defense of the Muslim religion made the fact that he himself is following a false god glow like a neon sign. When Mike Savage said he saw all religions like a wagon wheel, several spokes going in to the same center, my interest in hearing what else he had to say faded rather quickly. That's just me though, judgmental and stubborn ;)
