Springsteen as Travel Channel

Have you ever noticed how many of the Boss's songs are named after places?

Here's a few off the top of my head:

Badlands
The River
My Hometown
Philadelphia
Atlantic City

There's more. Lots more. (can you name some?)

Can you think of anyone else in popular music whose songs are so often named after places? I think he comes in first in this category. Triple A should adopt him as their mascot.

Okay, as a formerly huge fan of the Boss (still a Jersey girl at heart) I can throw a few more your way, but they might be debatable:
Darlington County
Thunder Road
Born in the USA
10th Avenue Freeze Out
Cadilac Ranch

I'm sure there are even more, too bad he stopped making any decent music back in the 80's.

Good job, Julie.

here's some more:

Nebraska
This Hard Land
Lucky Town
Secret Garden
4th of July, Asbury Park
Big Muddy
Jungle Land
The Promised Land
County Fair

He is a very place-centered dude.

You know, he may be a Kerry supporter, but I like him anyway.
