Notre Dame got stomped by LSU in the Sugar Bowl, proving, once again, that they stink.
Every year, we have to watch them get ranked 5 to 10 notches higher than they deserve, and then they get whacked in a bowl game!
Can we settle this once and for all. Notre Dame is the shell of a great team, nothing more. They deserve to play in the car-quest bowl, not the Sugar Bowl.

Amen! ND is the most over rated College Football team in the country. 9 consecutive bowl game losses! And I guarantee you, that each and every one of them was against a team that was much higher ranked.
I loved seeing them get pounded. LSU looked great too. Some comment about the LSU coach with Michigan ties. He said something like, "I never voted for ND for anything!" My kind of guy.
I actually think I'd be routing for "Taliban University" at the Al'Queda Bowl instead of ND.
Whoa! The Taliban University! Of course, they'd cheat at football --pack the ball with explosives, blow up the ref, that sort of thing.
The deal with ND is that they are always ranked higher than they deserve!
Listen, if we (Penn State is always "we") played the military acadamies and Michigan State every year, and beat them, it wouldn't make a dent in the polls (we do beat MIchigan state every year, by the way).
But if Notre dame beats Navy, Army, and Air Force, they're a top-5 team, no matter who else stomped them.
The voter bias is exposed every year, but every year, morons vote for them.
Notre Dame is a testimony to what a great PR office can do for you.
Notre Dame and the Dalls Cowboys get more unnecessary press than any teams in sports.
If you took the Notre Dame team and placed them at another university, they might not even be ranked.

I agree with Mike about PSU! I remember hearing about Notre Dame when they actually were good but that was a long time ago and they are way overrated now. P.S. I don't like the Cowboys either, they only get the press because of the cheerleaders.
Lady Lion, the Cowboys are the team america loves to hate! Myself included!
