Prepare for the Oppression of Venezuela

Hugo Chavez is his name. Sounds like a boxer, I know, but that's another guy ("Julio"). This man is preparing to increase the oppression of the people of Venezuela. He was elected the president of his country, but is about get a motion passed in his country that allows him to make laws by decree for the next 18 months.

One man, making laws, by decree. Every time that happens in human governments, the freedom of the people is diminished and the leader grows in centralized power and wealth (think Castro).

America criticized this move of course. Chavez's response, and I quote: "Go to hell, gringos!"

He already feels he is above reproach. Watch out Venezuela, there are bad days ahead.

Ya and
a real friend of the US to boot.

Every time you buy Citgo gas (and a few others) your putting money in this guys checking account!

Look out for some improvement relationships between Venezuela and Peru, Bolivia, and Columbia too.

I agree. I am not planning on buying Citgo gas anymore.

You know what I find really appalling is that people in the United States are becoming less and less discerning. wisdom seems to be out to lunch. This guy is wicked, but so many people don't even seem to notice. how can that be?

Of course, they didn't notice the problem of Bill Clinton raping Juanita Broderick, groping Kathleen Willy, and his sexual escapades with interns, nor his lying to investigators, lying to the American people, lying under oath. Americans lack discernment. They don't understand simple things, like that when your chief cop has no moral character, that he will double deal on all fronts. And yet, Americans, unwise as ever, just didn't get it --and still don't.

We are a nation of sheep waiting to be slaughtered.
