Why Is This Okay?

Tuesday, today, Russia announced that they have sold Iran some anti-aircraft missile systems.
Why is this okay?
I know, I know, George Bush is at fault for all evil in the modern world. But can I see a little condemnation in the press for this insanity? We live in a crazy world where a so-called civilized country, like Russia, can sell anti-aircraft systems to a man who has sworn to bring in the apocalypse by creating chaos to the earth and wiping Israel from the map. Where is the outrage?
I guess we used up all the outrage on trying to convince George Bush that peace in Iraq is a bad idea.
We're insane. For more on the story, click here.

My prediction - Israel will take out president Tom, or at least make a strike, within the next 6 months. Of course, it will just further Tom's cause, enraging the world at Israel for spreading so much hate... Lucky for us, Pelosi will have something encouraging and reassuring to say.

Well, in this case, the press seems to be taking its queue from the Administration.

Bush has given Putin pretty much a free ride. I'd say Russia is becoming one of the largest threats to democracy, and yet we buddy up with them constantly.

I think its time to stop blaming everything on the press or taking cheap shots at Democratic Leadership.

Andy, are you this critical of Republican leadership? Pelosi has been Speaker for a couple of weeks and you have no hesitation taking pot shots at her. Were you on Delay this fast? Or ever?

GW, I was speaking in the future tense of my own little scenario. If it would put you at ease, I'll add that regardless of what part he plays, or what he says, I'll likely be against anything Senator Specter has to say, and that Senator McCain will most likely be Pelosi's spokesman for what's Israel did wrong. I never claimed to be unbiased or neutral here ;) Since I'm getting way off topic, I'll add that I'm still unimpressed with W's inaction on our Mexican border, and Rick Santorum reminded me a little of the last guy I bought a car from.

Andy, no need to apologize for being biased here. A blog is a place for thoughts and opinions. I'm happy that, so far, my blog has been a place where everybody is friendly. :)

you know, I met Rick Santorum on several occassions and he really impressed me. I think he's a guy who says what he means and keeps his word. I know the press on the left didn't like him for his pro-life, pro-family stuff, and on the right they didn't like him because he supported Specter. But as for his work in the Senate, he was a busy and a good man.

I got the chance to meet Rick this past summer as well, and I should have known that asking the French to take my pic was a mistake. I look more like Jimmy Norton standing beside Hilary Duff than a supporter. Rick's tour bus was at a gas station by the family life conference, and had we not been on our way home sick, (I should have just stayed home and went to your place for the ice cream) I would have tried to get a comment on his views of border patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.
